Verlander Shuts Down Knights

I just straight-up got dominated. This was the 2nd worst offensive game for any of my teams dating back to 2004. The worst offensive game ever was 2022 when Harang 1 hit my Twins and struck out 10. This one hurt.
I am almost to the All-Star break and I’m in pretty good position to lose in the first round of the playoffs again.

April 15, 2026 at Rangers Ballpark In Arlington. The Knights were shutout by the Slugs 5-0. Justin Verlander came away with the victory, making him 1-2. He threw 116 pitches and struck out 9. After this loss, Darren Oliver has an even record of 1-1 this year. The save was credited to Mike Gonzalez. Dan Uggla paced the Slugs getting two hits in three trips to the plate, with one 2B and one RBI.

The Knights’ comeback season continued this week with the sweep of the Fighting Sausage. It was all offense for the Knights with wins of 8-5 and 6-4. Wow. I just got really tired so I’m going to add a picture of Prince’s blast in game 2 and a link to his career stats.
